We collect only what we need to run the shop and support you:

• Contact details: name, email, phone (optional), delivery and billing address.
• Order data: items purchased, amounts in USD, order status and history.
• Account and membership data: Bench Club tier and preferences, saved builds and wishlists.
• Support data: messages you send us through forms or email.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and essential cookie identifiers.

We do not collect government identity numbers, and we never store full card numbers — card data is handled directly by our payment processor.

Most data comes directly from you when you shop, check out, subscribe, create an account or contact us. Technical data is collected automatically by essential cookies and server logs. Payment confirmation data comes from our payment processor.

• To fulfil orders and deliver products — performance of a contract.
• To manage Bench Club memberships and billing — performance of a contract.
• To provide support and handle returns — contract and legitimate interests.
• To prevent fraud and secure the site — legitimate interests and legal obligation.
• To keep tax and accounting records — legal obligation.
• To send marketing where permitted — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout. Your full card number, CVC and expiry are entered on Stripe's systems and are never transmitted to or stored by Olk Bench. We receive only a payment confirmation, the last few digits and non-sensitive metadata needed to reconcile your order.

We share data only with processors that help us operate, under contract:

• Hosting and infrastructure provider (site hosting and serverless functions).
• Payment processing: Stripe.
• Database and authentication provider (order, account and lead storage).
• Email and delivery/courier partners to confirm and ship your order.

We do not sell your personal information.

Some processors operate outside the UK/EEA. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) to keep your data protected to UK/EU standards.

Order and tax records are retained for the period required by law (generally up to 6–7 years). Marketing and lead data is kept for no more than 24 months from your last interaction, or until you opt out. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve your query.

Subject to law, you can request to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete data (right to erasure).
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• For California residents: know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, without discrimination for exercising these rights.

Olk Bench does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If this ever changes, we will provide a clear opt-out mechanism first.

We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal effects about you. The Bench Builder is a guidance tool only, not an automated decision about you. Our store is not directed at children: registration is not permitted under 13, and anyone 13–17 must have a parent or guardian's consent to order and adult supervision to use tools.

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable processors to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and regulators of a material breach where the law requires it.
